Marilyn LeConte - Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Tutor | | | About me | I am an experienced professional singer with many years background as front man for all types of bands and groups including soul and motown bands, original rock bands, heavy rock, pop and blues bands. My career started with beat groups in the 60's.
In 1995 I returned to the business professionally and have since continued a successful career as a solo singer, using hight tech PA equipment/tracks. My material is diverse and includes swing, pop, rock, soul, motown etc. These days I am particularly in demand for functions (mainly weddings) and cabaret.
I am also a film and TV actor and supporting artist. Some of the productions I have worked on include Only Fools And Horses, Dalziel & Pascoe (as a singer), Bertie & Elizabeth, The Cranford Chronicles and so on.
